What is the delivery lead time & important delivery information?
Answer

Effective 1 Jan 2025, Amway has implemented a strict 60-day delivery lead time to all products directly shipped by Dreamland, Gintell, or Pentair, as well as any future VDS products.

 

Important Delivery Information:

Customers purchasing these products must arrange delivery within 60 days from the purchase date. Any undelivered orders will be automatically cancelled by Amway after 60 days. A cancellation penalty of 50% of the product’s AP price will apply, and the remaining 50% will be to the customer.

 

Reminder Process:

First reminder: if delivery is not arranged within 30 days from the purchase date.
Final reminder: before the 60-day deadline, after which the order will be automatically cancelled.

 

Undelivered orders after Day 60 will be automatically cancelled.

What is the maintenance cost & warranty information?
Answer

The External Water Filter has a 39-litre capacity and low maintenance cost. It comes with warranty coverage as follows:

• Vessel – 10 years
• Manual steering valve & pressure gauge – 2 years
• Piping – 3 months

First Year: Warranty covers both service part and labour (labour is free of charge)
Second Year onwards: Warranty covers service parts only (for parts with defects occurring naturally and not caused by misuse or human error). Labour is chargeable at RM100 per visit.

 

Note: There is no warranty on the filter media replacement part.

How can I purchase the media replacement part or contact Pentair after-sales service?
Answer

Pentair will provide media replacement parts and after-sales service for the next 10 years from Feb 2026.

What are the maintenance tips for the External Water Filter?
Answer

Weekly maintenance/backwash is recommended for External Water Filter.

 

ADVISORIES/PRECAUTIONS

• Ensure backwash is done regularly as per instruction given i.e. at every 7–10 days’ interval. This is to avoid deep bed of trapped substances and sediments from accumulating, and to prolong the lifespan of the filter media.
• Avoid hitting or knocking the vessel.
• Make sure the vessel’s top pressure meter and valve are covered with the provided cover.
• This product is only suitable for residential use.
• This product does not filter chlorine.

What product information is available for the External Water Filter?
Answer

The External Water Filter utilises multiple media for filtration, including coarse, medium and fine sand, garnet and zeolite to effectively remove unwanted sediments. The Primary Point of Entry (POE) filter removes sediments and other particulates up to 10 microns for domestic or residential use. External Water Filter is also made of Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) vessel to ensure strength and durability. The manual steering valve finally comes in for backwash function and pressure gauge.

What does the filter replacement part consist of, and where are they sourced from?
Answer

The filter media replacement part consists of five types of filter media: coarse, medium and fine sand, garnet and zeolite plus.

 

Country of Origin:

• Coarse, medium and fine silica sands come from Malaysia.
• Zeolite plus are imported from Australia.
• Garnet are imported from the United States.
