Why Co-applicant Name Displayed as “TWN”?

Q1: What does “TWN” mean?

╰┈➤ TWN stands for Temporary Without Name. It is used to keep the co-applicant’s information confidential. When this option is enabled, the co-applicant’s full name will be replaced with “TWN,” including in the ABOship name and profile.

Q2: Why does my co-applicant’s name appear as “TWN”?

╰┈➤ The co-applicant name will appear as “TWN” in the following situations:

  1. The primary applicant has set the co-applicant’s details as confidential.
  2. The co-applicant is a foreigner (not a permanent resident or citizen).

Q3: Can a co-applicant with “TWN” status log in to their Amway account?

╰┈➤ No. If a co-applicant’s status is TWN (Temporary Without Name), they cannot log in to their Amway account. When attempting to log in, the following error will appear:

“You do not have the affiliate for the country.”

Q4: How can the primary applicant allow the co-applicant to log in?

╰┈➤ The primary applicant can update the co-applicant’s access by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Amway account.
  2. Click the Profile.
  3. Select Personal Details.
  4. Untick the “TWN” checkbox for the co-applicant.

After updating, the co-applicant should be able to log in successfully.

Tips: Repeat the same steps if you want to apply TWN status to your co-applicant.

Q5: What if my co-applicant is a foreigner without PR or citizenship?

╰┈➤ Note: If the co-applicant is a foreigner without citizenship or permanent residency (PR), the TWN status cannot be removed. In such cases:

  • The co-applicant’s profile will always display as “TWN.”
  • The co-applicant will not be eligible for a separate Amway ID (login ID).
