A non-member cannot typically make purchases on behalf of an ABO (Amway Business Owner) or APC (Amway Preferred Customer) unless they are immediate family members. However, there is an additional requirement for authorization.

Here’s how this works:

1. Immediate Family Members

Immediate family members—such as a spouse, child, or parent of an ABO or APC—may make purchases on behalf of the member.

2. Authorization Requirement

  • Applicable for Malaysia and Brunei:

The ABO or APC must complete an authorization letter granting permission for the non-member to make purchases on their behalf.

The authorization letter must be signed by the ABO/APC to confirm consent.

  • Applicable for Singapore:

The non-member may present a WhatsApp message showing that the ABO or APC has authorized the purchase using their membership account.

This message must be shown to the shop staff at the point of purchase.

3. Payment

The individual making the purchase on behalf of the ABO/APC must pay for the items directly.
